"Wild West – Photographs of the Great American West" By Joseph F. Ruggeri III
Opening Reception: January 8, 2-4 pm
January 3 through January 31
Joseph F. Ruggeri III - Photographer: Joseph, a Westchester County native, is more than just passionate about documenting life in all its variety. A lover of nature and an avid birdwatcher, he is always searching for subjects that convey the beauty of the world around us. Joseph’s source of inspiration comes from his respect of the flora and fauna of the world.
Joseph attended Brook's Institute in Santa Barbara, CA and in 2008 graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Professional Photography. He concentrated in digital imaging, but thoroughly enjoys photographing the natural world. His intensive educational background involved courses including, but not limited to, Studio Lighting, Advanced Photoshop and Travel Photography.

A traveler at heart, Joseph has embraced the photographic opportunities he's encountered in Europe, Central American and many locations in the United States. He has been internationally published in the 5th Edition of Panama Now, a yearbook published every four years summarized as a portrait of the Panamanian nation.
Joseph is very excited about his first solo exhibit, “Wild West” which displays images he took while living in California from 2005-2008. During those years, he had the opportunity to explore natural areas of the southwestern United States.
Joseph currently lives in Northern New Jersey and is building a career in studio photography and web design.
