Self-Guided Group Visits at Audubon Greenwich Sanctuaries

Audubon Greenwich welcomes groups for nature study classes or group outings if they have confirmed reservations via a "self-guided group permit" (applies to groups of 7 or more people). Details and permit forms are below. Visiting groups pay the standard admission fee for non-members ($3 adults, $1.50 children/seniors). Group must check in & pay in the Nature Gift Shop.

Please note: This does not include groups who have arranged an educational program with Audubon naturalists. Professional photographers are welcome but are asked to pay a site use fee (contact the Center Director for more information).

The Center is a nature preserve for passive recreation and the quiet enjoyment of nature. Permitees must abide by Center regulations:

  • No dogs on any Audubon lands
  • Always stay on trails
  • Do not pick or collect plants
  • Do not alter the natural habitat
  • Do not capture, feed or disturb any animals
  • No bicycle riding
  • No group jogging (1-2 joggers are permitted)
  • No alcohol allowed without permission from management
  • Picnics only allowed in HawkWatch field, to north of main building
  • No grills, no barbecues, no fires
  • Dispose of garbage properly (pack in & pack out)

Inappropriate uses include loud music, active games, races and off-trail activities.

The Kimberlin Nature Education Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm every day. Trails are open from dawn to dusk.
