Volunteer For Wildlife: Become a Citizen Scientist
Citizen Science takes center stage at Audubon Greenwich throughout the year. Citizen Science is open to people of all ages and all skill levels, and is a great way to learn more about birds and other wildlife. Most importantly, Citizen Science contributes important, real-time trend data to Audubon and research scientists on the health of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats.

Our key Citizen Science initiatives are the Christmas Bird Count and the annual Hawk Watch at Quaker Ridge. The Christmas Bird Count is a scientific tradition for over one hundred years. Hawk Watching is how we collect data on the fall raptor migration and is one of the key reasons our main sanctuary has been designated an Important Bird Area (IBA). Learn more about these and other Citizen Science initiatives at Audubon Greenwich by following the links below.

Please click on any of the above links for more information or contact Brian O’Toole via email to learn more and sign up for one of our Citizen Science initiatives.
