Christmas Bird Count Results for the Greenwich Stamford Area

Each year, Audubon Greenwich takes part in this annual tradition to monitor winter bird populations throughout Canada and the United States. Teams of birders head out on a predetermined date to count as many individual birds in our count area as possible in a 24-hour period. Our count areas is known as the "Greenwich-Stamford Count Circle."

To find data for any Christmas Bird count, go to: http://cbc.audubon.org/cbccurrent/current_table.html.

To find data on our area, search Connecticut and then choose the Greenwich Stamford area in the box on the right. You can find data for the most recent count and for counts going back to 1933!
