Join us for seven fun-filled weeks of hands-on, educational hikes, games, activities and crafts! Audubon's 285-acre sanctuary is the ideal place for children to develop a better appreciation for and understanding of the environment.
Ages: Children and teens entering grades Kindergarten through 9th Grade. Note: Camps for students entering Grades 6-9 are offered during specific weeks.
- Audubon Ecology Adventures for Grades 6-9: Ecology Adventures (Weeks 2 ,4, 6, and 7*).
- Animal Homes and Hideouts (Week 6)
- Aquatic Adventures (Weeks 1 and 3)
- Backwoods Explorers (Week 5)
- Fine Feathered Friends (Weeks 2 and 4)
- Twilight Investigations (Week 7*)
Camp Hours: 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. (*Note: August 12-16 is the Twilight Investigations session from 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm so there is no day camp that week. On Thursday night, campers entering Grades 4-9 will have an overnight at the Audubon Center and get picked up on Friday at 9:30 am. Campers in grades K-3 will attend camp from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Monday-Friday.)
Cost: $350/week for Audubon members. ($280 for the week of July 1–5; no camp on July 4.) Please note: we do not have sibling or multiple-week discounts. Sorry.}
Audubon Greenwich Membership ($35/family/year) is required to register for camp and can be easily added to the Camper Registration Form. Each week, there are four to five camp groups, divided by age. Each camp group has one Head Summer Naturalist and one Assistant Summer Naturalist and Audubon trains and hosts 1 to 3 CIT working with each small group throughout the summer. CIT training is required and happens on a few of the Audubon Camp Staff training days on June 24-28, 2013. Registrations are processed in the order they are received and registrations cannot be accepted by phone. Summer Camp Registration Form processing begins March 1.
