Families looking for both spooky and friendly fun the weekend before Halloween will find plenty to do at the Audubon Center in Greenwich’s Halloween Weekend celebration on Friday & Saturday, October 26th and 27th. For two nights, the trails of the center’s nature preserve will be transformed into both a Frightful Forest for people looking for a scare and an Enchanted Meadow for children.
Take a Haunted Forest Walk on Friday and Saturday if you dare—a host of ghoulish animals and people lurking behind the trees await. For children looking for scare-free fun, the Enchanted Meadow welcomes children to show off their own costumes as they take a magical tour to meet friendly animal characters on Saturday. Other scare-free activities will include a bake sale and bonfire with s’mores. Attendees will also get to meet live animals up close with two Creepy Crawly Critter Shows held each evening, including a shorter show that's perfect for younger children.
