Spring Birding Workshop: Birding By Ear

Discover tricks and techniques used for identifying birds by their calls and songs. We will start with an indoor lecture where you will learn how and why birds vocalize as well as listen to recordings of common species of birds. Afterward, you will have a chance to practice your new bird song skills on a walk around the Audubon center grounds.

  • Adults & interested youth ages 10 & up are welcome
  • $12 members, $15 non-members, and youth are FREE
  • RSVP is required

Audubon Center in Greenwich is a vibrant nature education center located at the main 285-acre Audubon sanctuary in Greenwich. We are a part of the Audubon Connecticut state office of the National Audubon Society and Atlantic Flyway, and steward a total of seven sanctuaries in the Greenwich area. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our miles of trails, nature programs, conservation-themed events, and center’s nature store throughout the year.
