Attendees are welcome to relax with a glass of wine and fine cheese in our rustic barn and will join a short program on the science and music of the birdsong we hear in the meadows and forests of Greenwich.
Audubon Connecticut’s Director of Conservation, Corrie Folsom-O’Keefe, will discuss why birds sing, and special musical guest, David Rothenberg, will illuminate the patterns within birdsong using music theory and will perform selections of music inspired by birdsongs on his clarinet. Afterward, we’ll take a short walk to listen for evening bird serenades.
