Although many birds leave our region for the winter, it can also be a great time to observe those that visit our bird-feeders. Join Ted to learn about the life histories and food habits of our winter birds and what foods and feeders will fill their needs. He’ll also explain Project FeederWatch, a chance for you and your family to engage in real citizen science by recording how many birds you see at your backyard feeder. The data helps scientists track broad scale movements of winter bird populations and long-term trends in bird distribution and abundance.
