This event has been cancelled due to winter weather.
Thousands of ducks and other waterbirds spend the winter on Playland Lake and on Long Island Sound off of the coast of Rye, New York. Join the Audubon Center in Greenwich on a late-season adventure as we look for winter waterbirds and songbirds such as Greater & Lesser Scaup, Common Loon, Purple Sandpiper, and more. We'll also keep an eye out for wintering Sparrows, Woodpeckers, Wild Turkeys, Hawks, and Owls. Dress warmly and bring binoculars (loaner binoculars will be available).
Birders age 6 and up are welcome. Admission is FREE. RSVP is requested.
