Our most popular virtual livestream program returns for a limited engagement this Spring to bring birdsongs to your own home and raise money for Audubon CT's Birdathon!
Join naturalist Ryan MacLean to hear morning birdsongs LIVE from Greenwich Audubon Center in the comfort of your own home on Friday mornings this spring! The center's open fields, apple orchard, wetlands, and woodlands provide great habitat for migrating birds such as warblers, vireos, tanagers, thrushes, orioles, and others. This will be an exciting opportunity to hear the birds with us from wherever you live with viewers also being able to ask questions and report their own bird sightings in the comment section.
This special limited return of this series will also serve as a fundraiser for the Greenwich Audubon Center's annual Birdathon team, the Greenwich Goshawks. On May 15th, Greenwich Audubon's team will once again embark on its day-long adventure across Connecticut to tally as many bird species as possible in 24 hours while raising funds to support the conservation of all of these bird species. This year, our fundraising goal is $10,000 and in each of these livestreams we will be providing updates and information on how you can get involved with Birdathon and support our conservation & education work. We thank you all for your support of these birds and we look forward to having you tune in for these special online events!

Greenwich Audubon Center is a vibrant nature education center located at the main 285-acre Audubon sanctuary in Greenwich. We are a part of the Audubon Connecticut state office of the National Audubon Society and Atlantic Flyway, and steward a total of seven sanctuaries in the Greenwich area. Our mission is to protect birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our miles of trails, nature programs, education resources, conservation-themed events, and nature store throughout the year.
We support a diverse and inclusive environment, and welcome individuals of all races, physical and mental abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, and perspectives. We work with families to modify programs for accessibility where possible.
