From I-684 or Route 22 in New York: Take I-684 to Exit 3 (Armonk) and turn north onto Route 22. At the traffic light just after the right lane ends, turn south (right) onto North Greenwich Road (Route 433). Follow 2 miles to the stop sign at the intersection of John Street. The Greenwich Audubon Center entrance gate is on the left.
From I-95 in Connecticut: Take I-95 to Exit 3 and turn north onto Arch Street. Immediately after the light at Railroad Avenue, turn left onto Sound View Drive. At the street's end, turn right onto Field Point Road and take the next left onto Brookside Drive. At the end of Brookside, turn left onto Glenville Road. After 1.5 miles, turn right at the light onto Riversville Road. Drive 4.5 miles to the stop sign at John Street; the Greenwich Audubon Center entrance gate is on your right.
From the Merritt Parkway / Hutch Parkway: Take Exit 28 (in Connecticut) and turn north onto Round Hill Road. After 1.5 miles, turn left onto John Street and follow 1.5 miles to the stop sign at the intersection with Riversville Road. The Greenwich Audubon Center entrance gate is on the right. (Please note: buses and some commercial vehicles are NOT allowed on the Hutch/Merritt Parkway.)
Via Public Transportation (train to taxi): If traveling by train from Connecticut or the NY metro area, visitors can use your choice of two Metro-North Train lines (New Haven Line & the Harlem Line) to a taxi that can bring you to the center. The following are two nearby train stations, one from each train line. While these two seem to be the closest options, you can also reach Greenwich Audubon Center from other nearby stations.
- Take the New Haven Line to the Greenwich Station and take a taxi from there. (distance in taxi = 7.5 miles via: Soundview Drive> Brookside Drive> Glenville Road> to Riversville Road. Follow north to Greenwich Audubon Center at 613 Riversville Road, Greenwich - at the intersection with John Street)
- Take the Harlem Line to the North While Plains train station and take a taxi from there. (distance in taxi = 7.5 miles via: Lake Street East> Purchase Street> Locust Street> Bedford Street> John Street> Greenwich Audubon Center, 613 Riversville Road, Greenwich - at the intersection with John Street)
