Discover the many turtles that live in the ponds and lake at Audubon Center in Greenwich! At this special family event, you'll learn about turtle natural history, nesting behavior, and how to help protect them. After meeting some of our resident turtles, we'll go on a hike to Mead Lake to look for nesting Painted Turtles and Snapping Turtles.

We are a part of the Audubon Connecticut state office of the National Audubon Society and Atlantic Flyway, and steward a total of seven sanctuaries in the Greenwich area. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our miles of trails, nature programs, conservation-themed events, and center’s nature store throughout the year.
